Usage
For use on hard, non-porous surfaces, such as stainless steel, chrome, glass, plastic, and vinyl.
A two-step process of cleaning prior to disinfection is required only when surfaces are grossly soiled or there is the possibility of contamination with blood or body fluid. CleanCide Wipes can be used for both cleaning and disinfecting.
1. Always wear gloves when cleaning. These wipes are for cleaning surfaces, not for use on skin. Wear a cover gown and face protection in addition to gloves if cleaning up a large body fluid spill.
2. Pull cloth wipe from the container at 90° angle making certain to position the wipe between the two pointing arrows appearing on the lid. This permits easy separation of cloths at perforation.
3. Unfold cloth and wipe surfaces until visibly wet. Allow solution to air dry.
- Do not wipe the surface dry prior to adequate contact time. Wexford disinfectants contain humectants which evaporate slowly to prolong drying time. Although the surfaces may appear dry, there is still dampness or moisture present. This ensures complete bacteria kill.
4. Wipe or rinse any residual, after sufficient contact time, from shiny surfaces if needed.
5. Keep small center cap closed to prevent moisture loss from container.

3. Unfold cloth.
4. Start at the connectors and wet down but do not saturate the cables while wiping away from the connectors. It is sometimes necessary to wring out the towelettes to avoid excess fluid on the cables. Allow solution on cables to air dry.
5. Do not allow any solution from the towelettes to drip into the cord connectors.
6. If pooling occurs at the cord connectors, allow adequate contact time and then dry the connectors before reuse.
7. Cords and equipment should not be saturated.
8. Do not wipe the surface dry prior to adequate contact time.
9. Wipe or rinse any residual, after sufficient contact time, if needed
10. Allow cords to dry before packaging the equipment for reuse.
11. Keep small center cap closed to prevent moisture loss from container.
